ABOUT ME

I just returned to Kansas in Fall 2009 from spending a year working in northern Germany, and am settling home again in the prairies of Kansas. My roots here run deep, and my love for the Midwest is very strong. Yet I also have a passion for traveling, and enjoy meeting people from other towns, states, and countries who are passing through town. Sharing stories, building relationships, and connecting cultures are vital. I thrive from learning experiences, opportunities to break stereotypes, and unexpected connections which give me a better understanding of the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will need to run any couch surfing requests by my two housemates first before agreeing to host. Our schedules rarely align, so things can be a bit crazy here. But we'd love to meet people if possible, and at least share a drink and wander downtown.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've experienced only extreme generosity from my CouchSurfing contacts. As I settle into my new home here in Kansas, I aim to pass on the generosity I have received by finally being able to host travelers in my own home and city. I love meeting new people and hearing about all their experiences, world views, taste in music, etc. It never gets old!
