I enjoy traveling and meeting people (like everyone else on here, I'd hope)
I have an incredibly broad smattering of interests, including but not limited to: nerdy things, music, realll good food/cooking, movies, coffee. I usually find everything tasty and everything funny. Hard to displease.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none, really. The closest I've gotten to couch surfing is meeting and spending a bunch of time with people who float around.

Interests

I have a huge range of interests.  Travelling--of course, knitting, crafts, gardening, movies, EATING.  Slack lining, swimming, hiking, and the like.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: John Fante and Bukowski books. Vonnegut and Poe. Pollan, Chatwin...and more (And if you carry a towel with you while you travel, then you probably know another one of my favorite books/authors)
Movies: Oh, so many...They Live, The Thing, The Fly, Nightmare on Elm Street, Waking Life, Dead Man...I've seen a bunch of movies.
Music: Some go-tos and favorites are Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, The Velvet Underground, The Pixies and Elliott Smith. I listen to all kinds of music though, so I like a lot of hip hop like Madvillain, Dre, Warren G. Also like Minute Men, Bikini Kill, Rights of Spring...
I like Phish, Biggie, Punch, Old Crow Medicine Show. So if any of that is familiar, you can see I have a weird wide taste in music.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to knit! During the very little free time I have, I like to knit things for people. (mainly hats, sometimes scarves)
I can also pass along recipes and some food knowledge.
Also..I suppose if anyone is interested, I AM majoring in chemistry, so I can try to explain a few fundamental things about chemistry.
I'm open to learn anything.
