Hi err-buddy!

My name is Kate and I’m unsure what I’m really ‘doing’ all the time.

I am currently in the Orangeville area working as a tattoo artist. This comes after learning the trade in South Korea. I am constantly analyzing and stressing about technological determinism and our cyborg futures. I also like video games and am aware that if the ‘medium is [indeed] the message’ then I am eternally in blasphemous contradiction.

My favourite things to do include talking, drawing, jamming music of all sorts, reading, wandering around the dredges, video games, snowboarding, traveling, jogging, analyzing everything and sometimes, just sometimes, exploring the realms of psychedelia to make sense of this weird, like really weird thing called life.

Couchsurfing has helped to facililtate some of the most enigmatic, positive travel memories I've ever had. It's a wonderful tool to meet amazing, inspiring people and exchange words and thoughts and ideas and shared time. It's great! I'm on it because it's great! :)

I can’t stop thinking about the role technology plays in our futures as humans, both positively and negatively. I also love talking about video games; a pastime which has been further honed since living in Korea, land of the PC room. Let’s talk about these things and come up with new theoretic frameworks of analyzing them!!
