my name is Katka, I am from Czech Republic, but currently I live in Scotland.

Send only last-minute requests please!! I usually don't make my plans more than one or two weeks ahead, cause I like to travel a lot and often plan last minutes. If you send me requests for staying too much in advance, I have to decline it, because I can't guarantee I will be in Edinburgh.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

In 2011 I experienced for first time couchsurfing. It was in Glasgow and arranged by my boyfriend and I enjoyed it so much, I decided to register here too. It is amazing to have an opportunity to meet and speak with people from all over the world. I have been always fascinated by listening of people's life stories :)

I love animals. I worked many years as a volunteer at ZOO in Prague and The Rescue Center for Handicapped Animals in Vlašim.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I am a bookworm. I love to read any good books, doesn't matter what literary genres. But if I should say some of my favorites, it would be Harry Potter, The Alchymist by Paulo Coelho and from czech books Saturnin.

Movie soundtracks - my favorite one is from 'Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 1 and 2' :D

Anime - currently 'One Piece'. But I don't know if I will ever have that much time I could see all episodes. Is anyone here who managed it? :D

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I am very happy, I had the opportunity to take care of the sea lions at zoo and train them. That day, when I was with sea lions for first time and could cuddle them, I was certainly the happiest person in the world :D

One year challenge for myself - every month to make at least one low cost budget trip to abroad to explore new places. Done and it still continues, just a little less frequently.
