About Me

bring more art and creativity into my life

very active, interested in new people and willing to learn new things every second of my life!
I enjoy being different and communicating with different people from all over the world.
One of my dreams is to live in many countries for some time as far as I am open to any new experience (in Iceland I have even tried the rotten shark, Hákarl, and it happened to be not that disgusting :D )
At summer I work as a guide on boat-trips in Saint-Petersburg, so I can tell you something about the city and show not-touristic, but interesting places!
I believe it is possible to find something in common with almost all people if you both behave and have respect for each other. And I think it is always interesting to communicate with any people - cause you can learn for all of them.

I am rather quiet and do not party hard till sunrise (okay, sometimes it happens, but very rarely)
I love making photo's, horse-riding, reading, doing sth with my hands, dance and learn. And I like teaching (cause it is also my profession)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

Unfortunately I cannot host, so I can only show you around the city or have a cup of tea or coffee with you. Saint-Petersburg has much more to offer than only famous sights and I know where to go to find some interesting places :)

I travelled in the Netherlands with CS and it happened to be one of the best experiences in my life! It was extremely interesting to meet all the people, to look how typical Dutch people live, to quit the touristic path and feel at home. In Den Bosch I attended a CS-meeting and there got acquainted with brilliant people! So, all in all, thank you, CS, that you exist :)
Update: I keep travelling with CS and hosting people (hosting as a guide), I visited Norway and south of Belgium, Berlin and Maastricht. Only good experience by now!

Scandinavia (nordic culture is really amazing),
watching old Soviet movies,
reading, especially Bulgakov, Erlend Loe, Daniil Charms, Tuve Janson etc.
cooking (sometimes cooking-time happens and then I am ready to do anything, even comlicated recepies) and eating (actually more eating than cooking)
