Though my full name might look intimidating, I prefer being simply called Kate. I am a 26 years old curious, open minded, even if not very experienced traveller. I love visiting new places and I have found that to really feel the place one needs to live there for some time, in real conditions and with real local people.
Last two years I've spent teaching English in China. That was an interesting and important experience, but now it is time to try something new.
I consider myself an open, honest and tolerant person, sincerely intrigued by all that's different and unconventional. I only wish I was brave enough to experience life to its fullest. And for that I need good company, which I hope to find here, on CS.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling. I am interested in in visiting many new places, and I prefer flexible, independent routes, not limited by tour guides and schedule. I think that Couchsurfing is a great idea that allows for a more interesting, more emerging experience, meeting new people and learning more about your destination. And even though my own hosting capabilities are limited, I am always glad to help my fellow travelers in any way I can.
