Hi!

My name is Katia which is a shortening from Kateryna. I've been meaning to join couchsufring for a long time, but as my appartment is still under reconstruction, I cannot accep guests.

Still, I am willing to meet people from all over the world coming to Ukraine. I studied Cultural Studies for my BA, so I can explain history, culture and traditions of my country and I am also familiar with the collections of many of Kyiv museums. I as well have tips for sightseeing in other cities of Ukraine (I love to travel both abroad and within the native boarders =).

I also have an MA in Political Science, so a talk about Ukrainian politics, economy and international relations over a cup of tea is also very welcome. By the way, in my student years I studied in Germany for one semester and later I graduated from Estonian School of Diplomacy. Both times studying abroad I enjoyed the ability to communicate with the international student community the most and I am really looking forward to broaden my network of interantional friends.

My other interests (except culture and politics) are languages, travel, music (I play guitar and piano), design (at the moment I am attending graphic design classes) and the whole world!

I also love good food and know many nice placec in Kyiv, which may be beneficial for you as well =).
