My name is Kate and I am a traveling apparel innovation designer, instructor, researcher, and new mom. My husband, baby, and I have a lovely apartment in Antwerp. I am from the USA and my husband is from Nigeria. We love to meet people who enjoy traveling as much as we do!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We travel often (usually individually for work) and sometimes would like to save on hotels and meet other international travelers. We have a free and VERY comfy couch in out living room, and will soon upgrade that to a spare bed.

My husband and I watch a lots of documentaries and shows about nature. My favourite movie, that I've seen recently is After Earth.

I love reading articles and scholarly journals about fashion innovation adaptive technologies for people of all abilities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everyday is amazing to me. My most amazing times are when I am not thinking about the past or the future, but enjoying the actual present moment! I think having a child is the thing I have done that amazed me the most.
