ABOUT ME

I like swimming in the beach late at night with friends, looking up at the stars and moon. I like campfires and trompling through the woods. I like sewing stuffed animals and making costumes. I like arguing about Star Trek and gushing about Iron Maiden. I love big cities for the rush of new people and exciting things to do. I love being in small towns surrounded by giant mountains and forests that go on and on. I'm from the South, live in the Pacific NW and I'm just starting to get used to all this rain.

PHILOSOPHY

Well...I try to be a good person and learn from my mistakes. It's very important to me to feel good about my actions at the end of the day

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to the world of Couchsurfing, although I've stayed many times at the homes of friends-of-friends while traveling! I love getting to know new people and discovering cool things about places I visit.

Interests

Sewing, reading books all the time, kittens and puppies, Julie Andrews, Patrick Stewart, 80s hair metal, Broadway musicals, learning new languages, typing games, french fries with mayonnaise (it's a Belgian thing), midnight adventures with friends, bubble baths, dream journals and getting letters in the mail.

Movies: Practical Magic, MirrorMask, The Fall, Clueless, Hocus Pocus and most movies about witches.

Music: Guns n Roses, Alison Krauss, Azealia Banks, Nappy Roots, Iron Maiden, Dolly Parton, Pistol Annies, Ludacris, and Jacques Brel.

Tv: Buffy, Veronica Mars, The O.C., Star Trek TNG, West Wing, and other silly sitcoms.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a man balance a lawnmower on his chin for a couple of minutes and win a Guinness World Record. Very inspiring.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can sew fairly well. I speak French and some spanish and the tiniest amount of American Sign Language. I can play the piano and read music. I can make guacamole and I do make it all the time.
