About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore more of beautiful Mother Earth!

ABOUT
I like to stay active by taking hot yoga classes, hiking, running, scuba diving when I can, and trying new outdoor activities. I also love exploring and experiencing new things (especially trying new foods!), and am always up for trying something different. I'm not a partier but I do enjoy going out for a drink or food or having a chill night in reading or hanging out with friends.

I love traveling because I'm able to volunteer and help others while learning more about them and their culture. Every person has their own unique experiences and it's wonderful to hear their stories and become part of their lives.

PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is this: Don't simply keep dreaming. It's not enough to let your mind wander with your heart. You need to get your feet to follow. Go after your dreams! Or they'll only ever be happy thoughts.

"Anything is possible for a willing heart."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had a blast couchsurfing during my European adventure in 2014 and 2015. I would love to meet up with visitors or other hosts in the area!

Interests

traveling, swimming, trying new foods, having unique experiences, getting out of my comfort zone! I like to sit and read and relax, but I'm also slightly an adrenaline junkie. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Born to Run, Devil in the White City

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Volunteering in Haiti and experiencing the wonderful spirit of the people. Despite living in an extremely overcrowded and poor country, the people find ways to be happy. When we took walks throughout the town, the kids would flock to us and follow us everywhere- never asking us for food or money, but simply wanting to share in our experiences.
-Exploring old cave dwellings and going up in a hot air balloon at sunrise in Kapadokya, Turkey. I loved being immersed in the history of the environment and seeing firsthand the paintings on the walls of caves that people inhabited thousands of years ago.
