ABOUT ME

I am a Seattle based artist, mother of three, wife. I received my MFA from Syracuse University where I also taught briefly. I spent many years in advertising and design mostly in Los Angeles. My friends would say I'm vivacious, creative, funny, and smart. People are often surprised to find out I'm an introvert because I'm not shy. I've moved often, first because of school and my own life, then because of my husband's job, and enjoyed learning about each part of the country we've lived in.

I'm curious about the world around me and love to learn. My artwork affords me many opportunities to learn new things in adjacent fields. I have a hobby interest in neuroscience and its social implications and incorporate it mischievously into much of my art.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Watching elephants disappear in front of my eyes as they merely stepped behind a few leaved, while I was on safari in Uganda was a moment of awe for me. Being a mother, giving birth, of course awesome moments. But there are simpler things that are breath-taking, like a friends pure simple inner kindness that leads me to understand, I don't know kindness at all and sends me down a path of learning that alters my life and every life I touch.
