I'm 24 and love traveling and meeting new people. I've lived in Montreal most of my life and have just recently moved to Ottawa to start a new degree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I haven't done too much with CS. I had a friend stay with me while I was living in Denmark, and she introduced me to a few amazing people, who she'd met through CS.

Interests

I love art, music, tv, and movies. My BA was in Anthropology and East Asian Cultural Studies, and they're both big passions of mine. But I'm also very interested in anything related to human rights and social justice.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I have a record collection that I love adding to, mostly of classic rock, and I also like a broad mix of newer music.
Movies: Waaay too many to list, but a few of my favourites are The Dancer Upstairs, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Vertigo, El Crimen Ferpecto, and A Dirty Carnival.
Books: I read a lot, mixed fairly equally between fiction and non-fiction. My fave fiction books are Lolita (Nabokov) and The Little Drummer Girl (le Carre). Non-fiction: My War Gone By, I Miss It So (Anthony Loyd) and Justice (Dominick Dunne).
