I'm just finishing a Masters course in York and will be travelling for 6 months before starting a job in Ecological Consultancy in May. I love being outside and seeing new things and I'm a keen rowing and have recently taken up cycling and sailing. I'm always keen to meet new people and get tips on good places to visit!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going to be working for the Department of Conservation in NZ for 6 months between August and March and travelling around the country in between placements. I'd love to meet people who know the area well and make new friends since I will be heading over on my own!

Interests

I love getting involved in most sports but at the moment particularly rowing, cycling and have just started sailing. I also enjoy getting out into the countryside and enjoying a days walking with friends and family. As an ecologist it's always great to get out and see some wildlife too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I actually used to live in Melbourne Australia when I was younger, when my parents agreed to some crazy house/job swap with a family out there. Apart from being terrorised by huntsman spiders it was one of the best periods of my life!

I also once trained with the RAF and flew a plane solo
