ABOUT ME

I am a English-Spanish conference interpreter, and in my humble opinion is the best job you could possibly have, I think I'm just a bit too passionate about what I do :)
I'm vegan.
I used to be an avid traveller, loved learning new languages, new cultures and all the cool unknown things about a city, not the travel destinations, but those cool stuff only people who live there know, but enough is enough, now love staying at home and hosting instead.
I love cooking, baking and teaching other people how simple and tasty vegan food can be, I have a recipe website in Spanish, but feel free to take a look (there's food porn!) LasCocinerasMetaleras.com
I have a very active Instagram account related to the site, and I post about living as a vegan, restaurants I visit, and new recipes, and a ton of tips on everything vegan, so if we hang out, don't be surprised I take pictures of my food.
Music is a very important part of my life and you will always find me listening to something old, or new.

Veganism, metal (music), nature, cooking, baking, languages, dogs, swimming, learning something new.
CS Interests: To meet people, make friends and share experiences.
When I'm at home, I mostly spend time looking after my 4 elderly dogs, watching something on Youtube, fixing things, trying to watch something on Netflix, experimenting with new recipes and uploading the good ones to my website, sewing and working.
I love to go to places near water, no idea why, but I'm drawn to lakes, sea sides, canals, and rivers. I enjoy old cities, and places drenched with history, but also the quiet of nature.

Musica, film e libri

Music: Metal for me most part, my favorite bands tend to change over time.
Movies: My favorite movie is Stardust. I'm more into BBC series, like Doctor Who (I'm such a DW geek), Sherlock and lately also Vikings from The History Channel, and #OMGWinterIsComing.
Books: Anything by Jonathan Safran Foer, my favorite book is Everything is Illuminated, have read it many times, and go back to my favorite bits when I'm feeling down. Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman is a close second :)

I can teach anyone how to cook something vegan and yummy in 3 steps or less!!
I love learning local recipes from the places I visit.
I always want to improve my English.
As a latinamerican I'll probably feed the life out of you If I host you and have time to be around the kitchen :) Be warned!

I love cooking and baking, when I'm travelling I usually don't use a kitchen for weeks on end, and I'm more than happy to take over a kitchen and cook something for everyone :)
