ABOUT ME

I am a nice girl in my twenties, just at the end of my medical degree and always interested to use my free time for traveling. I was born in Berlin, grew up in Aachen and Oldenburg and moved to Bochum to study medicine. One year of my medical career I spent in Oviedo, Spain. I loved the vida española, it's just more relaxed and people are just in a better mood all the time.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a hard working person, but I do not only live to work and I do not work only to live. It is not all about fun, but I always want to enjoy myself, why not? To have fun in my medical career and also outside my job is just fundamental to me. I love to have time for my friends and family and to do travels and excursions with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just start my couchsurfing experience, because I was always to shy to start with it... But now I see it as a challenge and I am excited to get to know you soon!

Interests

First I am really interested in traveling to see many beautiful places of the world! Then I love to relax, to do yoga, go to a beach or a Spa (depending what is close enough...) or just watch a movie. In my free time I love to go jogging or as a new thing I started ZUMBA and I meet my friends or just read a book. There are a lot of things I like to do and I am always interested to get to know something new, but there is usually something essential missing: TIME :-(

Music, Movies, and Books

I just read a bestseller "Eat Pray Love", which also became a movie. I did not watch it yet, but I just love the book. It describes the author's traveling experience in Italy, India and Indonesia after a hard time of divorce. It just mentions all my interests in experiencing new countries and cultures and it awakes all my desire to travel again!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I guess there are a lot of people, who have done much more amazing things, then I have done. I visited a few places in the world and I lived with different people together far away from my family. For me this have been great experiences, which influenced my personality and just made me to a more open-minded person. For me it had been amazing to be able to do those exchanges and I am really grateful for all those people, who hosted and welcomed me at their home.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love the idea of exchange and to get knowledge of people's life in a different part of the world.
I could teach you German of course, maybe some English or Spanish, I have a profound medical knowledge and maybe give you a little advice in health issue. I can tell you something about the countries I have already visited and I love to cook, but don't know if it is really enough to teach, but we can share recipes :-).
