Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know new people and also learn about the everyday life of the locals. Of course, this also includes tips from locals about the city/location in order to get to know the most beautiful corners and get as authentic an insight into the area as possible.
For me, however, the cost aspect also plays a big role - it's simply not possible to always afford a hostel/Airbnb ;)
