--- Round the world trip from End of September 2017 until End of May 2018 ---

We are an Austrian couple and will go on a round the world trip starting End of September 2017 until End of May 2018. I am self-employed as a yoga teacher and trainer and my boyfriend works in the alternative energy industry. We both took off from work and would like to explore the world and make new friends. We are both very down to earth and communicative. We love to travel and hear about local stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are couchsurfing because we think it a very authentic way of travelling and experiencing local life. We love to meet up with new people and to get and give inspiration.

Our favourite music is so hard to break it down to one genre. We love good old music - as well as singer/songwriter, alternative rock, indie, reggae... Music which touches our heart!

Our favourite movie is Life is beautiful or he Pursuit of Happyness.

Our favourite book is the "The Why Cafe" and "Big Five for Life" from John P. Strelecky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been travelling the world (mainly Asia) already in 2011 and travelled alone doing studies and exploring (Katharina).

I lived in Costa Rica and Cuba for 4 months in 2013 and studied the Spanish language and local life (Gerhard).
