I am Katharina , 25 years old and a Student from the North of Germany. I am open minded, outgoing and always interested in doing fun stuff with friends, so I like to be active. Also I like to laugh a lot and therefore I love to spend my time with easy going people who feel similar. I already lived in England, the Netherlands, Spain (yet only a month), and Mexico.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and getting to know new places, people and cultures. Also all my experiences abroad were amazing and therefore my curiousity to explore new place is still strong :)
Also I think getting to know a place via couchsurfing is a fun and authentic way of exploring since you will definetly see another picture than just doing it the tourist way.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is so to say pretty flexible, I like Pop, Rock, HipHop etc. it simply depends on the song at hand and the mood I am in. But to name a few artists, I like Clavin Harris, Martin Garrix, Kings of Leon, Cro, and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are several things but one that come to my mind right away is that once i jumped from different water falls in Mexico which were up to 8m high, so it was a frightening and exciting experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn new languages ( or slang), new recipes of food, and in general cultural traditions. I can share what I have learned through the experiences I had so far and share German cultural aspects.
