I was born and raised in Germany, hence my mother language. But I have lived in the US for the past two years to pursue my bachelor degree. Right now I am spending a semester in Shanghai to improve my Chinese.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing because I like to meet locals and explore the different culture up close much more than staying in a hotel and doing the typical tourist stuff.

Interests

I love books, movies, languages and writing. The more languages I can learn the better.History is also a passion of mine. True historic sights are always some of my most favorite places. I have travelled through out the world a lot as a child and teen and I enjoy it immensely.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music artists are Fall Out Boy and Pink. But I listen to what ever I like most that day. I am a top 40 charts person.
I have way to many favorite books to list all of them here. But in recent years, I have become a fan of dystopian fiction and books like The Hunger Games, Red Rising, Divergent, Brave New World and more are on the top of my list. Alongside of course with fantasy classics like Lord of the Rings.
I also watch almost every movie and tv show there is, expect for horror and thriller, which are just not for me. I am also a girl who watches Marvel, in case you wondered.
And given my major, I am also into absolutely anything history related.

I am a storyteller. I love stories, real or not real. Books are a life source for me. But my own life story can be pretty interesting, too.
