ABOUT ME

I just finished my studies in Freiburg where I was studying to become a secondary teacher. Those past 4 years in Freiburg have been such an amazing experience. Although Freiburg is not really big, it is one of the most beautiful cities I know. Apart from that I met so many great people here and spent moments I never want to miss.

As the teaching practice is going to start in February, I want to use that time I have in between to travel as much as I can. So from the middle of August until the beginning of December, I will be traveling through beautiful Canada - mostly Quebec. :) I will mostly do wwoofing there with a friend of mine - which basically means working on farms without being paid for it, but staying there with the family like a family member.

About me:
I love spending time with friends, being outside doing sports or fun activities. I love to travel and to see as much of the world as I can. For me, traveling is one of the most important things. I would be poorer if I hadn"t made all those great experiences abroad and hadn"t met all those great people in different places.

I would describe myself as a friendly and easy-going person and as someone who is curious to get to know new things.

As I was studying before, I don"t have many experiences with couchsurfing yet. But I would be happy to make some now :) :)

Interests

I love music - I like playing the piano or the guitar (but I"m still learning :D) and singing. Apart from that, I like doing any kinds of activities with friends, traveling, reading and watching movies. I love doing snowboard in winter (or ski) and hiking in summer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I often listen to rock and punk music, indie rock, sometimes metal etc. but I am not really picky with music. I can also listen to classic music if I am in the right mood - so everything basically except Hip Hop, R"n"B, german folk music (XD) or bad electro stuff.

I absolutely love those books: The shadow of the wind, The kite runner, Tuesday"s with Morrie, Dead Poet"s Society, Harry Potter (absolute classic XD)and some others.
