I guess everyone here calls herself/himself open-minded and funny, am I right? ;)

Since I'm a single mom I did not have the chance to travel much for years. But my son is getting older and loves staying at his dad's place or with his grandparents for a few days - and I am finally able to expand my horizon by visiting foreign countries and meeting new people, yay! When nobody wants to take care for my boy while I'm on vacation I just take him with me, ha!
And when I'm not traveling I love to have guests around - this is why I started hosting.

So what am I doing with my life? (Besides raising a kid - does that count as a full-time job?)
Attending university (and I promised my parents to get my bachlors degree soon, haha), working (marketing assistance for a movie distribution - sounds exciting, but tbh I get paid for starring at Facebook pages), talking about politics and trying to be a political active person, walking my dog. (Yes, I'm a dog person, but I won't take my dog with me when I'm travelling and I like cats too. No reason to fight about this topic!)

If I had time for hobbies I'd read more. ;)
I also love cooking (mostly vegan) and eating (food is life, food is love), lying in my bed and binge-watch great series, singing @ karaoke bars (spoiler alert: I can't sing), enjoying sunshine and rain - spending enough time in the nature is very important for my mental health, staying inside buildings for too long makes me unhappy. Very unhappy.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I'm open-minded and funny.
And that my English should become better, haha.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be honest: I don't have much money. This was the reason why I created my profile on Couchsurfing. I didn't even think about hosting somebody, I just liked the idea to travel with low budget.

But after hosting some people I must say that I really like it to have guests around. It's a great experience to meet all these people from different cultures, to share my time and food with them and to practice my English!

Couchsurfing is more than just a free place to sleep, I do believe that this makes the world a better place. Traveling opens your mind, learning about different cultures opens your mind, being generous opens your mind. It brings us (and 'us' means the whole human race) closer together if we share what we have without expecting any reward.
