I am a young, beer- and you wouldn't believe it- fun-loving German gal, currently studying politics, media and sociology in Düsseldorf, Germany, after spending a year of voluntary service in Tainan, Taiwan where I was teaching in my yung Taiwanese some english and everything they need to know about german beer. Also I can now order food and bubble tea in Chinese which is probably the most useful thing I have ever learned.

I sure do talk a lot, so I'm not gonna spoil the whole surprise and deep talk stuff in advance, that's being saved up for when we meet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is such a great way to make new friends and get to know new places! Nowadays, travelling can be so expensive, and it is hard to just go on a trip without much means - that's why Couchsurfing is such a great concept.
Also, I just like people and meeting them.

Also dancing, music, normally also reading but since my study Programme involves SO MUCH reading so I kind of paused my free-time reading until my next travel (which hopefully involves a stay on your Couch :D)

Music, Movies, and Books

Forever will be 'Love Actually..' I gotta admit this one, it's so beautiful don't lie it's your favorite movie aswell
Books - give me everything , travel, adventure, knowledge or just a nice old novel
Music taste is pretty universal, though I'll always come back to listen to Hip Hop

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just learned how to make tomato sauce, which makes me extremely proud because I no longer have to rely on instant meals but can cook my own dinner ( which is noodles and tomato sauce )
I do plan to expand my cooking skills to more challenging meals

Oh and almost forgot, my year abroad in Asia, diving in the Phillipines and Malaysia, Swimming with swarms of fish (I saw a shark aswell), backpacking through Malaysia and Singapore, having the time of my life!

What I Can Share with Hosts

-My knowledge about german beer and wine (we do produce wine in Germany aswell, and my Mission is to spread this knowledge around the world, because it's pretty good wine)
-I can also sing a german folk song to you if you want
-Teach you the best way to apply sunscreen if you're white like miracle whip cream like me, no sunburn guaranteed
