Hello everybody!!! My name is Katie and I am a young traveling girl who wants to see the world and loves the adventure. I left Germany nearly three years ago and started traveling through Europe.

The artic circle in Skandinavia fascinated me a lot, so I spended about three months learning about the cultures, indigenous people, the nature and the cold. I spended several months as well travelling in -20 degrees with the gypsies in eastern slovakia, as well as several other countries in europe.

I spended a year in New Zealand and am planning to stay three years in Australia. Maybe all the extreme cold forced me into the desert.

I am preparing for solo cameltrek. At the moment I am working as a volunteer in a camel trekking business in the Flinders Ranges to learn about camels and the desert. Such a trip takes a lot of experience and preparations,so I am grateful for every helping hand on my journey.

I live animals and nature, if you have a dog you will have the key to my heart:)

I am very passionate about painting and drawing and I love to talk about art, also photography.I am thoughtful about the environment and i am vegetarian since 10 years ( Don't feel offended, i just don't like the way it tastes and i have no problem with other people eating meat.) According to my friends, I am outgoing, open-minded, social, crazy, brave, funny and a magician in the opinion of a very irritated men I met during my journey .I love meeting people from all over the world and learn about cultures,traditions, languages and life.

To travel the world is my biggest dream since i am a child. I always was interested in cultures,different counties, languages and nature. It is essential for me to get in touch with the people in the country and to learn about everything.

I also spended several time in France at exchanges, the longest time for three months .I love getting in touch with different cultures, languages and traditions in all countries all over the world and that's why I would love to meet you!!!

I don't want to be rude or offensive, but I have had a lot of issues with sexual assult and harassment in the past years, especially while traveling alone as a women. I found it easier, to be straight forward in the beginning.

音乐、电影和书籍

I love old music ( Elvis, supertramp, david bowie, fleetwood mac, the smiths, queen...) and my Vinyl collection. Books always played a importend part in my life, my favorite Books are ,,great gatsby", ,, Lolita" and ,, the perks of beging a wallflower". In my opinion, Lolita is one of the best movies, but i love all types of movies.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have seen polarlights, Reinders and Moose in beautiful Norway. We once nearly drove over one at night time.We were hitchhiking and the 70 year old lady told us about her strange relationships to men and she was so focused to share her stories with us that she nearly drove over the reindeer. It wasn't helpful that the street was frozen and she had no winter tires. The best stories I made during hitchhiking and I would love to share them with you. By hitchhiking and couchsurfing i got great experiences with locals, made friends for my life, got a lot to know about the country and had a lot of fun with my drivers ;)
