Dear future friends,

my name is Katharina.
I spent the last year in Paris, Germany and Namibia.
I've been working a lot to be able to afford all my travellings. Until now it was definitely worth it. Especially in Namibia I made so many new friends, got to spend time with them and got to experience their culture. Also, I truly enjoyed my time as a volunteer in a school project. The kids own a huge part in my heart and I will definitely try to visit them again.
Since I'm home again I've been working in the gastronomy (again) and Ive been planning a new journey with my friend Blanca. ➡profile : Blanca Zacher
Our journey will start in Costa Rica to Panama to Colombia to Equador and to the Galapagos Islands.
Since we would love to meet people and to experience real culture and life style we would love to do couch surfing.

Interests

What I love to do most is dancing. Dancing, singing, believes and arts unite and connect people in a very special way. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people, learning about different cultures and lifestyles. In the future I would love to study development and try to help as many children as possible.
In Germany/ Europe I mostly eat vegan. Everywhere else I eat vegetarian.

Teach, Learn, Share

The never ending aim in life is experiencing and learning more about all the wonderful magical things the world has to give and show us. There is so much knowledge and spirit in this beautiful world. Life is a gift and everyone has the chance to make the most of it.
In the last couple of years I was teaching young and old about my knowledge of German, English and French. I always try to awake the joy and make it fun for everyone. In the end it's all about passion and ambition.
In Namibia, in the school project we didn't just teach school stuff, we taught them about behaviour and about self confidence. It's very important for children to know that their important and someone cares about them.
Sharing is a value which has always been very close to my heart. Life, experiences and things get you nowhere if you have noone to share them with.
