I am a german Au Pair (19yo) in the United States since April 2019. I live in NY with my host family and unfortunately I am not allowed to host someone but actually I would love to since I love to get to know new people.
I love to travel and get to know the American culture as good as possible. I am super open minded, extroverted, talkative wherefore I love to meet new personalities and different cultures.
I am sportive (gymnast for 16 years now) and a good mix of active, inquisitive and relaxed.
I would describe myself as super neat and organized!
Besides I love to explore everything (doesn’t matter if alone or with someone)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Get to know new people, cultures, have good talks (late night talks) and people who can show me around!
I think couch surfing is the best way to get to know locals who can give a lot of worth it advices for the city.
I am a big fan of sharing and respecting each other. That’s why I think couch surfing is the right thing for me.
At least I don’t wanna hide that being an aupair is not the best payed job and the budget for travel is little, therefore Couchsurfing is perfect because you can “pay” the people with different things than money (cultural exchange, talks...)

I am more the TV show person than movies but sometimes I really like to do movie nights with friends or family.
