We are a young journalist couple, ready to explore the world. We work as freelance newspaper journalists and also run a small TV company in Herne, Germany. Both of us enjoy travelling, meeting new people and getting to know foreign cultures. We are interested in many things and always looking for new experiences.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until I have a place where we can host, we just keep on telling everyone how great CS is and urge them to join!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have travelled with CS in Denmark and loved it! Also we meet with CS friends in our area. Couch Surfing has enriched our cultural and travel experiences as well as social life. That's the only true way to explore the world. Because it really is the people of a country who count.

There is so many....travelling of course, film making, vegetarian food and cooking, reading, watching and producing TV documentaries.

Thomas: nature, mountainbiking, eating and making sushi, motocross, helping cats, playing team fortress, sports....

There's so many great stuff ou there....
Katharina likes music that makes her happy (Pop, Country, Jazz, Musicals). I read whatever I can get, lots of factual suff but also some novels (Ken Folett, Sophie Kinsella, Helen Fielding).

Thomas loves Techno and Trance (Armin van Buren, Woody van Eyden and so on)

Copenhagen, Denmark, "the most wonderful captital in the world" (Thomas).

Have been to White Sands in New Mexico which is the most amazing white desert I have ever seen. Quite a mystique place, but sooo beautiful. (Katharina)
