Overview
About Me
Others would call me adventurous and even courageous - but I just see it as that I like to make the most of the opportunities that life throws my way - and if that involves travel - even better!
I'm social and love to meet new people and explore my surroundings.
My family and friends are very important to me and I really value what they bring to my life as I hope they do of me.
I'm pretty relaxed and easy going and will take most things in my stride.
I've worked over seas but only for a few days/weeks at a time - in Ireland, Philippines, USA, Japan & India.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to this - so I'm just learning... I know people who do this occasionally, and people who do this a lot - and love it...
I have made good friends with people who now live in Bristol who arrived by couch surfing to find a job and a place to live. It seems an amazing opportunity.
I'm a little nervous as a single female traveller - but here goes!
I'm also hoping that sometimes my host will take me out and show me around.
Interests
Travel, exploring, hill walking, glass fusing, cooking, eating!
I've just booked up to do a beginners kayak course.
Given the opportunity I ski, rock climb and happily camp (as long as it's not chucking it down).
I also go into schools and do engineering/ science projects as a volunteer.

It was knackering!
