I'm taking a year off from school to work and travel. I love rock climbing (I work at a rock climbing gym), theater, reading, music, food, going on adventures and meeting new people! I'm backpacking Europe for a month and a half.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to volunteer for music festivals. Favorite artists include The Beatles, Sufjan Stevens, Edwards Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, J Cole, Kendrick Llamar, Bon Iver, Elliot Smith, Fiona Apple, Grizzly Bear, Janelle Monae, Norah Jones, Sylvan Esso, and Hiatus Kaiyote.

I mostly read fiction. I love Harry Potter, The Raven Boys, Mistborn, Kate Daniels, And I Darken, and The Princess Bride.

I'm a big fan of studio Ghibli, BBC Merlin, Game of Thrones, and Arrow.

Teach, Learn, Share

Part of my job involves introducing people to rock climbing and helping beginners climb better. If anyone's looking to try something new and wants someone to show them around the gym I'd love to help. If anyone is looking for a belay buddy or climbing partner then I'm totally down.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love talking to people and getting to know folks so I can definitely offer conversation! I'm a limited cook but I do like making pasta, brownies, and lemon blueberry scones. If anyone's a vegan I've been meaning to try an avocado chocolate or key lime tart. :)
