I'm a 21 year old business student and traveller. I never wanted to go to University but I knew it would be good for me, turns out I've probably spent more time traveling than at University, Yay!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I downloaded Couchsurfing ages ago but never used it until I met a couch surfer (in a hostel) in Sri Lanka, we ended up meeting again at a hostel near the airport and it turned ounces had the same flight. We owe together and he then asked his Host if it was ok to take to me from the airport to a station near where he lived (Saving me 50+ RM). Not only did his Host do this, he offered me a place to stay and took us out for dinner. The kindness and generosity was just so amazing that I had to properly join the community... So here I am :) - (July 2017)

兴趣

I'm a lazy workoholic... I love to work (especially paid) as that means I have more money to travel but it's also a good learning experience and I really think it can shake who a person is. But I'm lazy in that when I'm not working (or traveling) then I like to just chill, watch Netflix and do very little.

When I'm traveling that's a different story... I love to just walk around new cities and 'get lost' but I've always said 'you can't get lost if you don't know where you're going!' I think it's the best way to get the feeling a place because you can see everyones day-to-day lives rather than what is manufactured for tourists.

I also prefer traveling solo as it means you can go at your own pace and not worry about someone else being displeased as there is no one else. It also forces me to make friends along they way!

ANYTHING!!

I'm not a huge music lover just because my taste changes constantly, plus I feel that when I'm listening to music I don't take in as much around me as I can... And I if I'm walking and listening to music then I will usually dance along too... It can get quite embarrassing...

I do my best reading whilst travelling. I say best but what I really mean is that I will devour any free book I can get my hands on! Usually easy reads but I love sci-fi that is kind of within the realms of possibility... My all time favourite book is The Swarm by Frank Schwartzig (possibly spelt wrong). Must read for everyone!

Ran away (told no one but our parents) to Amsterdam for 3 days with my best friend then ended up moving there two weeks later!

I'm not a very talented person (to be honest)... Although Im great at finding cheap travel deals... Is that a skill?

I love to learn though, especially about new cultures and ways of life!
