ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Katherine and I'm a student from New York, NY. I'm coming to Geneva to study abroad and intern for the Spring 2013 semester. A little about me: I studied abroad in Paris last Spring, so I'm looking to keep practicing my French. At home I like to hike and snowshoe. When I get to a new place, the two first things I do are explore the nearest grocery store and figure out the public transportation system.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking to meet new people in Geneva and surrounding areas - especially if you are a native French speaker! Another plus if you are a native French speaker who can cook fondue and want to snowshoe on the weekends. Also, I'm interested in learning German while I'm in Geneva.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed on one couch (in Rouen, Spring 2012). I also took a vacation to Rome where I met people through CS meetups!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

My trip to Antarctica was the most amazing trip I've taken. Everything is on a different (massive) scale and there are penguins!
