enjoying my youth and discovering as much of Europe as possible during my spring semester abroad

ABOUT ME

I'm a 21 year old student who loves life. Originally from the beautiful Grand Canyon State I enjoy nothing more than exploring the great outdoors. If I can't be out exploring then sipping a glass of wine over a delicious meal with good company is a perfect alternative. My life is kept interesting with my large family, eclectic friends, and the many people who touch my life on a daily basis. I'm always eager to meet new people with new perspectives to better understand my own place in this wonderful world. I developed a love for travel 2 years ago when I first visited southeast Asia. I loved the fact that the cultures in each country are so distinct and rich from their neighbors. I returned last summer to work and live in Taiwan and had a great experience making new friends and connections abroad. I look forward to continuing this as I travel through Europe this spring!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Spreading the word--the success of this program is dependent upon spreading the stories and creating networks throughout the world. I participate by sharing the great benefits of this program with others to expand the community. Once I'm settled in a permanent location I fully intend to open my home to fellow surfers to return the gift of couch to others.

I enjoy just about any movie that will make me laugh (or cry). I absolutely adore curling up with a good book and pot of tea.
