My current mission is to simplify my life to one bike and two panniers as I venture down the coast from San Francisco to San Diego

ABOUT ME

I'm a positive and responsible person who takes life one meaningful stride at a time. My recent story has been in San Francisco, where I've been soaking up the bay area culture for 4 years. I've gotten into rock climbing, filmmaking, student exchange, Community Sustainable Agriculture and more. Most of my time is spent helping international students engage in American school and family life successfully.

I recently entered a cross roads, where I've discovered something that I burn for...database development. It may sound dry to some, but through building a database for my current company, I've realized how fundamental databases are in our information-driven world. Since the database mindset comes easily to me, I'm motivated to get my hands on the gears that turn non-profits and social enterprises around the world. Therefore, my next step is to head to South Africa to work with a non-profit that helps homeless people get off the streets.

After that, we'll see where life goes next...

I am not in a place to host coach surfers right now, but I am happy to be part of the community. These days I am a surfer and hopefully I will have the space to host in the future.

I'm getting into couch surfing for the first time, after hearing from many friends how great it has been for them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a bike tour along the Blue Ridge Parkway on the east coast for 10 days. Biking along a mountain ridge means you're either biking 3 miles an hour up a 2,000 foot descent or diving 40 miles an hour down a swooping hill. What an experience...

I've lived abroad in Buenos Aires and Madrid. I'm moving to Cape Town for two months to volunteer as a database developer at a non-profit that helps homeless people get off the streets.
