I am living and working in my beautiful home city of Manchester. I have couch-surfed myself in Russia, Belgium, France and Ireland and had great experiences every time. My interests include Russian and Eastern European culture, music (especially Irish and world folk), theology, community outreach work, drawing, reading and travel!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the whole concept of couch-surfing; it has really given me a whole new perspective on travel and helped me meet some really great people. I'm also a big fan of hostel culture, but spending time with locals is definitely one of the best ways to experience a new location. Couch-surfing always inspires me to be a welcoming guide in my own city when I return from travels.
