ABOUT ME

I grew up surrounded by the bush and love the outdoors but don't seem to see enough of it these days! I'm easygoing, appreciate a good laugh, a good conversation and a good meal. I enjoying spending time with friends, my husband and little girl and wish my family was a little closer geographically. I like words, children, and think autism is fascinating (although I wouldn't wish it on anybody). I have a love for music - playing and listening. Music has many purposes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've had many great CSing stays in my trip. It always amazes me how generous and kind hearted people are to someone who they've never met before! I have had a few people stay with me once I returned from my adventures o/s and it was an absolute pleasure to host also. I appreciate the sharing of different worlds and cultures and hearing stories from far and wide!

兴趣

Hmmm....what do I like?! Music (many genres!), the smell of toasted cheese sandwiches, hugs from someone who loves you, crosswords, jogging in the rain, music concerts, Mr Men books, being part of a group working towards a common goal, the french language, sushi, the luxury of opportunity, open fires, reading, the process of learning and teaching, meeting people, experiencing rather than having, the lure of the unknown but also the slight anxiety which goes hand in hand!
