I am a volunteer for Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the dream. Our mission is to help people see that an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling and socially just society is possible.

ABOUT ME

I am a mother of 2 grown sons and married to a great guy that works too much. We currently and reluctantly reside in Redondo Beach, Ca near LAX. My husband's job moved him here in 2008 and I joined him in June of 2011. My heart and 2 grown sons are in St Paul, MN.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing. I will be in Madison for a biodynamic farm conference in November so I thought I would give it a try.

Interests

My husband and I enjoy the outdoors and 4 seasons. Our passion is rock and ice climbing.

I enjoy gardening. And my dream is to start an intentional farming community in WI on about 160 acres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunsets in CO leave me awestruck. Ice climbing in Ouray, CO. I started rock climbing when I met my husband in 2006. He has been doing it since he was a teenager. I grew up in CO and have always enjoyed the outdoors especially hiking on rocks to get to the highest point for the amazing views.

I love ice climbing even more than rock climbing because it is so beautiful. Ice is gorgeous and I feel peaceful and satisfied while climbing and probably even more so after climbing. The climbing community is made up of great and fun people.
