ABOUT ME

I am a pretty typical student, except I have this insane itch to travel and meet people from all over the world. Reality TV is my guilty pleasure, I am secretly a huge nerd, I am very outgoing and LOVE meeting new people who can tell me more about this great earth, and possibly allow me to come and visit!

PHILOSOPHY

I guess one thing my mom told me about being spontaneous is "Unless it could affect the outcome of your life in a negative way, do it. It's better to regret something you did, than something you didn't do." Aaand... I've always kind of followed that philosophy and can honestly say, I have no regrets.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I don't have a place for someone to stay... but I would if I could! I would love to meet with you for coffee or a drink and show you Boston and what it has to offer. I've lived here for about 3 years now, so I know the area pretty well, and most of my friends are travelers as well who love meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend does CouchSurfing a lot, so we've been meeting backpackers who have drifted through that apartment for a couple months now. It's been a really awesome experience so far, so much so that my friend and I are planning on CouchSurfing when we visit Spain in May!

I love B-grade Horror movies like Sleepaway Camp, and weird indie flicks like Welcome to the Dollhouse. You would have to strap me down in a chair to watch anything with Adam Sandler in it (I don't judge, though.)
I'm a lit major, so books are super important to me. I love everything from Nabokov and Dostoevky to Keruoac and Bukowski. I also love psychology books and sociological analyses... I'm a huge nerd, basically.

As far as music goes, my tastes are pretty eclectic. Beirut, Radiohead, and Sufjan Stevens are up there.

I traveled to 11 countries in 3 months, which was pretty insane. Though I think the most amazing thing I've ever experienced was a church service in Karanse, Tanzania. I'm an Atheist and it was in Swahili, but I can tell you it was the first and only time I ever believed in God. (Getting deep there.)
