I am a young woman of Martiniquaise origin, I was born, I grew up for 20 years after I left to study in Metropole (France).
I studied logistics and transportation after my bac and a few years later I decided to change and do some cooking. I am happy but it is hard and physical work but at least I could always find a job wherever I go. I live in Poitiers for a few years and I think soon to move, I do not know yet where I will settle, I think seriously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard about couchsurfing very recently, I am super happy with the concept, I am a little shy person, I try in time to become less shy and I like to travel I just make a great stay in Québèc. I met a lot of other friendly people but I liked it a lot and I wanted to leave on a trip but for me it was a few things dear and here I hear about the couchsurfing especially that I have Need to meet English speaking people with whom I could share and exchange. I come from a Creole culture and I would be delighted to share my very colorful culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been on a trip to Quebec recently because it is a Canadian province that I have always loved for a great shy like me I am surprised to be more sociable I met some great people that makes you want to meet again An other person. My first experience at a great hostel !! For most people it's nothing but for a shy homeowner it's a success. To open myself to others while traveling is cool!

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to learn English, it is not simple since my passage on Montreal I realized that I am null in English I would like to improve therefore I make efforts with babbel or dualingo or even Michel thomas. Frankly not obvious. I would also be happy to share my French which is my mother tongue with others who would like to learn it. I also speak Creole which is part of my Martinique culture. Couchsurfing a good way to practice my English at home.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to share my double French and Creole culture, I grew up on an island, I would be happy to talk to them about my life there, our traditions in the Caribbean at the same time culinary or traditions like the carnival which is important for us. I do not live in it anymore but I'm always in Caribbean time, a little rum punch and everything goes well and it warms up during the winter.
