ABOUT ME

I am smart, capable, loud and a whole bunch of fun! I would hope they would say that I can be depended on, am reliable and always there for them. "Treat others better than you treat yourself!"...one of my mottos! I am always up for a good time, meeting new people and learning more about life from others.

Interests

I think life is about discovery, learning new things and living in the moment! I like every day to be new to me. I want to discover something about myself that makes me a better person. This usually happens by meeting other people and talking about experiences and past times. If life could be a countinuous path that lead to one new experience after another...I would be happy. Those activites would include anything outdoors (because Nature is our best friend!), running, biking, hiking, wandering, bbq's, games outside, snowboarding, and just sitting under the trees. I also like the relaxing times where I get to sit and watch the world go by while I read a good book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After escaping from a cruise ship for about 8 hours, I hiked up Mt Juneau by myself! The trek up was crazy...mainly because I was alone. Then when I got to the top, I realized what I had accomplished, how far I had come and how much fun the journey was! That feeling, mixed with the spectacular views...wow...that was amazing!

In Jamaica I helped rebuild some schools that had been damaged by some hurricanes. After a hard days work, we sat on the beach and watched the sun set against the horizon. Let me tell you, after a day of helping others and then watching one of the most beautiful views I had ever seen, life just seems to all be in place! I wish I could go back there...or perhaps just do it again!

These moments, however, do not compare to time spent with good friends, sitting around the camp fire and eating marshmallows!
