Hello! My name is Kathleen- Rose (everyone calls me Kat), I am 19 and from the small country of New Zealand. I graduated high school in 2017 and I am travelling USA and Europe for the next year, starting in August. I am travelling with my best friend, Abby. We're very excited about our journey and who we meet along the way. We are aiming to travel on a small budget, especially when it comes to accommodation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on here to meet new people all around the world. I hope to host couch surfers when I arrive back to NZ after my own travels. This seems like a fun and exciting way to meet new people and little to no cost.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most genres of music, I don't have a certain genre I like the most. Whatever tickles my fancy goes straight into my '2018' playlist. I love thriller movies, the nail biters I find really interesting. A few of my favourite movies are The Prisoner, Gone girl and The Call. However when it comes to reading I struggle as I am dyslexic, I am a much for verbal person and I cannot sit still! Lol.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my last year of high school I saved up for a Contemporary Art Trip to Europe. I worked two jobs whilst at school and I learnt what hard work was thats for sure! It was an eye-opening experience and I made life long friends.
