I’m Kathleen.
I am from Belgium. My mission is to explore many different countries and mostly learn from other cultures and people.
About myself, I can tell that I am a happy and enthusiastic person. I’m always in the mood to meet new people. I like to go out, dance or talk and laugh. I love the ocean, to swim, to float, to snorkel and to dive. I love hiking, camping and going back to basics with the nature. You don't need much to be happy :).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For a long time I shared a house with seven friends in Belgium. We had some couchsurfers with us and enjoyed their stay very much. I surfed in Oslo and Amsterdam .

Intereses

My love for Asia started when I was 17 when I went travelling trough Thailand with my mother. After this I went backpacking in India , China, Cambodia, Laos, Burma, the Philippines, Mexico and Texas. In the end I ended up in Australia. I carry these travel experiences with me in my mind and in my heart.
Other countries and citys I visited: Dublin, Paris, London, Spain, Portugal, Serbia, Hungary, Vienna, Italy, Croatia, Morocco, Bulgaria.

Books I adore: Shantarram, ten thousand splendid suns, papillon, the life of pi, …
I enjoy cooking Tagine and Indian dishes.
