ABOUT ME

I am 22 years old and only beginning to seek out the world. I was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, and I left to go to school in Portland, Oregon, where I'm currently living. I have a full time job with a non-profit that keeps me busy, but I'm learning how to keep a work-life balance! I'm pretty chill but I like to have the occasional night out, but otherwise like to work out, watch movies, read, and explore Portland.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not sure why I was put on this world, and I'm still searching for whatever it is that will make my life meaningful. All I've figured out is that life is hard, monotonous and quite dreadful at times, but love, laughter, friends, and family bring joy and usually I think that makes it worthwhile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I traveled through Europe with friends, I couchsurfed a bit and done a bit of hosting too. Still fairly new to it.

Surfed with Kaja: In Frankfurt, Kaja hosted me and two friends for three days! She showed me an awesome time on my birthday.

Interests

My interests are pretty chill. Not into windsurfing or mountain climbing or anything too adventurous like that - although I'll try most things at least once. Good books, good movies, TV shows, sharing good food with friends, going out and having a good time. Long talks with friends about anything and everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done...I've done a lot of pretty cool things, but the one that comes to mind is laying over the edge of the 300 foot cliffs at Dun Aengus on Inishmore, one of the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland. One of the scariest but greatest things I've ever done.

Well, I know how to use an Eskimo yoyo, so if anyone wants to learn how to do that, I'm your girl. I want to learn all the things!
