ABOUT ME

I´m living in Spain teaching English to elementary school children. I love living in Europe because it is so easy to travel and see new things. I love learning about new places, people, ideas, and ways of life and traveling is my favorite way to do this. I did an exchange program in Ecuador for 5 months and it was the best experience of my life. I've been bitten by the travel bug!

I love people. I love spending time with my friends, family, and getting to know all sorts of people.

I think my favorite thing to do is laugh, and be around people who make me laugh.
I like to work with kids because of their creativity and carefree nature, and I wish we could all stay this way.

I´m currently doing a cheese tour of Europe. If you know a great cheese shop, please let me know and I´ll meet you there...
I'm really laid back and am usually down for almost anything!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just started couch surfing in 2010 since I have been living in Europe. I've surfed couches in Brussels, Amsterdam, Greece, Italy, Spain, and Dublin and I have had some great experiences! Everyone has been so friendly and generous and I can't wait to host someone (either in Spain or wherever I end up) to give back!

I love music and learning about new music from other people. Right now I'm really into Manu Chao, Juanes, Coldplay, MGMT, Arcade Fire, Modest Mouse, Guster, Weezer, Oasis, Ratatat, Girltalk, Reggeaton, Shakira, Lauren Hill, Timbaland, Bob Marley, Paul Simon, Van Morrison, The Beatles, 90's music, etc, etc, etc

Some movies I like are The Departed, 500 Days of Summer, Superbad, Que Tan Lejos

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Machu Pichu is probably the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I hope to eventually hike the whole 4 day Incan trail back to Machu Pichu.
