I love to travel and recently returned from a trip around the gobe. Or parts of it. ;-) . I enjoy getting to know people, their country and culture. For me a no go vacation is an "all inclusive" booking, a place surrounded by hotel blocks, gift shops and tourists who prefer to eat their home food and speak their mother tongue while away. I love nature and wildlife, to explore and adventure. That is why I sucessfully finished a field guide (safari guide:-) ) training in the wildernis of South Africa and Botswana.
I am a friendly, easy going, polite and reliable person who loves her home town but also loves to be away from it. I am also interested in sports (especially Tennis), love to go see musicals, take pictures and write.
The most interesting, beautiful and exciting places I have visited so far are India, Borneo, Australia, NZ, Botswana and Namibia. Still on my bucketlist: Patagonia, Papua New Guinea, Madagascar, Eastern Africa, Canada...
I am fluent in German and English and might still know some Spanish and French if I try hard. I hope you will welcome me in your home. Looking forward to meeting you.

I love to meet the locals and get there insider knowledge on what to do, where to go and not to. It also gives you the unique chance to get to known the local culture a lot better than staying in a hotel with to attachments to the locals. So I like to stay with people who are keen to meet people like me. And who knows, this might be the beginning of a wonderful friendship. ;o)
