ABOUT ME

We are Kathrin and Steven, a Hungarian wife and husband, with a baby born in October 2017, called Lisa Sophie, who love to (however surprising it can be) travel and share ideas with other people from all over the world.

With Couchsurfing we have discovered many fantastic places, and got to know friendly and welcoming people, and we always wish more, we just can't get enough of travelling and making new friends! We would like to meet people who share our ideas of the world, and do not mind spending time with an extremely adorable baby!

Update: Due to our relatively small flat, and to the fact that our baby is still very small, we may not be in position to host you at the moment.

PHILOSOPHY

We would like to see many places all over the world and we love the idea of staying with people from the country which we visit. Probably it's the best way to get to know how life goes by in the country, to learn about the people, their traditions and habits and to learn the language as well! Life itself is all about the experiences, and remembering the smiles and laughs that You've had together with someone from a lovely, distant place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been surfing mostly, in Germany (Hamburg, Bremen), Austria (Wien), France (Paris), Georgia (Tbilisi) Tokyo (Japan) but we have also hosted guests from Germany, and Georgia :)

Books: We enjoy reading all kind of books, let them be the Lord of the Rings, the books of Jo Nesbo, Philip K Dick and Ray Bradbury, WIlbur Smith.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Currently our greatest treasure is our child, Lisa Sophie. One of our travel dreams came true, when we could visit Costa Rica, the rich coast.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Hungarian, (other languages as well), some cooking, drawing, and many more :) Kathrin is a yoga teacher!
I learn anything!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We would love to share some Hungarian recipes with the ones we meet during travelling. Hungarian dishes are one of the tastiest and (even though its surprising) the healthiest in the world!
