ABOUT ME

I would describe myself as open minded, always up for something fun, spontaneous and welcoming. I absolutely love meeting new people from my country or anywhere in the world. After studying one year in the US, I learned so much from people all over the world, and I wanna know more, see more and experience more of it. I love going to a café or bar to hang out, I enjoy long warm summer nights, I love being at the ocean, traveling, smiling. I'm probably the only German who doesn't care much about beer. When your hanging out with me, it might happen that we get lost, but I'll always find my way back :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have to say that I did not know chouch surfing until recently. I started going to couch surfing meetins after a friend told me about it and I had moved to a new city. I enjoyed that so much. People were just so cool to hang out with. So the only experience I have so far are the meetings, but all that's gonna change now :)

兴趣

I really love meeting people from all over the world, just talking about what life is like, what experiences everybody made, learning from different perspectives. I love cooking as well always trying to learn some more cool recipes. I like discovering new things, it could be something small in my own town or a city or country I haven't been to yet or even just trying a new hobby (learning sign language right now). Being in the nature is something that I enjoy very much, even though I do like all the culture, art, history and life of big cities as well. Otherwise I play volleyball, go rowing, do arts when I have time, hang out with friends, have a coffee, or play improvisation theater.

I listen to a lot of different music like Adele, Zaz, Amy Macdonald, Tracy Chapman, Amy Miriello .... and singer songwriter. One of my favorite books is 'Tuesdays with Morrie'.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One really memorable experience was going to Ethiopia and realizing that a smile can be everything. A lot of people I met there, with in our eyes so little, were smiling. There is so much power in a friendly face, it can move mountains and your heart, it can change your day, and your perspective on life.

I can teach German, how to cook a yummy chili con carne and maybe how to knit a scarf if I can remember ;)

I'd like to learn how to play the guitar and work on my bits and peaces of Chinese I once learned.
