I truly believe this is the only real way to travel. You get to know the area as a local, share stories with real people, and take part in the commmunity of free spirits and open hearts that exists all over the world. Why would we ever want to do it another way?

I belong in the wilderness, surrounded with dirty people and clean air. If it weren't for the whole 'be an adult and go to work' thing, I would never be indoors. Hiking, rock climbing, and scuba diving are the three passions which give me peace from the busy world. Skiing, camping, and cooking are close in trail.

Ive lived in SC for a year, but before that was in Kansas, South Korea, Missouri, and Ohio! I am a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, so I’m basically a fish. I try to spend every weekend in the water or outside. Until it gets too cold, then you'll find me in the desert somewhere. :D
