I am a mid-20's music therapist based in New Orleans and slowly becoming a true southerner. I was raised on the East Coast, spent half my college career in Hawaii and then ended up in NOLA - haven't been able to leave since. I grew up the 2nd eldest of 10 kids and have spent most of my life navigating a myriad of personalities starting with my family, now into my professional life. I work in mental health by day and an am active musician by night - plenty of opportunities for unique social interaction! I used to host couch-surfers in college and made such great connections. Hoping to restart that process and meet some as I potentially surf some couches as well!

I've made great, lifelong friendships with couchsurfers in the past, whether if they stayed with me or I just met up and showed them around town, and I'd just like to continue that pattern!

Songwriting, guitar playing, reading, hiking, biking, long conversations + new people, healthcare affairs, costume making (a huge past time in New Orleans), going to live shows, attempting to learn Spanish (key word - attempting), and travel!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music - don't get me started! Movies - I have terrible taste and tend to prefer comedies that went almost straight to DVD, e.g. Drop Dead Gorgeous and The Ringer. Books - Donald Miller made a big impression on me in my younger years and continues to do so....but otherwise, I spend most of my time reading textbooks for my graduate program. :)
