ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from University where I studied Biology, and I'm taking time off to travel before hopefully heading to graduate school.
I study Animal Behavior, which often means traveling to remote areas and hunkering down in hot, buggy, and humid conditions for hours on end.
But I love it!

Outside is where I'm happiest--hiking, reading, soaking up sunshine.
I'm incredibly easy-going and flexible and will try almost anything once.

When traveling to a new city, first on my agenda is a bite to eat. Then wandering around taking in the sights, smells, sounds. In the words of JRR Tolkien, "Not all who wander are lost", and I take that philosophy to heart when exploring new crooks and crags of city corners. I take time to sit in a park, on a bench, or along a river to watch people going about their lives. Sometimes I read, sometimes I write, but I always try to take it slowly.

PHILOSOPHY

Live for the little things in life.
You can learn something from everyone.
There are few things that good food, a good book, and good friends (or better yet, all three) can't fix.
When things get tough, just keep going. Eventually you'll look back and laugh.
