ABOUT ME

I'm happiest at home with family, but I've always had an insatiable appetite for travel. After college, I spent an incredible four months in Australia, Fiji, Taiwan, Japan, and Vietnam. This further fueled my passion for exploring new places, so I now find myself in my second year of living in Japan as an assistant language teacher. Meeting and getting to know local people has been a huge highlight of my travels so far. I'm really looking forward to continuing to meet people from around the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to the couchsurfing world but have met travelers around the world who have surfed and can't recommend it enough. I have wanted to try couchsurfing for years, and I figure now's the time! Since I now live in Japan, I am hoping to host some surfers, too.

Being outside, hanging out with any kind of animal, walking and hiking, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, exploring museums,perusing markets,reading, taking photos, listening to/making music, making/eating tasty food, studying maps, watching movies, laughing with friends and family
