ABOUT ME

I'm a fun, adventurous person who likes to experience and live other cultures. Loves music, dancing, basic amenities like air-conditioning and cold beer after living in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for 2 years. Interested in meeting new people and seeing countries the way locals live in them. Loves trying new things, spending days laying on a beach, once in a lifetime type of excursions, and of course traveling! Very friendly, easy-going, flexible, and dependable.

PHILOSOPHY

To live life to the fullest and to experience and do as much as I can while I'm here, whether it be traveling, teaching, or helping others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to CouchSurfing, but I have lived with host families for several months in Mauritania, South Africa, and Thailand. I thought it was a great way to meet locals and families and also to experience normal life in these countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music and I'm always interested in learning about new artists. Favorite genres include African music, classic rock, and jam bands. Favorite books - War and Peace and Chronicles of Narnia. Favorite movie Steel Magnolias, but I tend to only watch movies once so I don't really have favorites.
